The children in Foundation Stage had a wonderful time celebrating our topic on our
Space and Alien Theme Day.
All the children made a fantastic effort with their costumes which included Aliens, Space Rangers, Jedis and Astronauts.

Grow Your Own...
A couple of months ago the children in Foundation Stage were lucky enough to plant lots of different plants and vegetables in our wooden planters.
Today, during independent learning time the Reception children discovered that our radishes were ready to harvest!
At snack time the children had a taste of the radishes and described them as 'juicy,' and 'like water but spicy!'

We had some very special visitors over the Spring half term.
The children really enjoyed looking after the chicks after seeing them hatch.

We celebrated Mother's Day by inviting the special women in our lives for a pamper day!
They were treated to hand massages, portraits, manicures and hair styling.

Foundation Stage Farm Topic
We went to Cockfield Farm in Ashton
We had a lovely day feeding the baby lambs, goats, sheep, pigs and ducks!
We even got to see a reptile show and visited the aquarium.
We celebrated the end of 'The Farm' topic by having a Farm Themed Day.
