Times table Rockstars
At St. Joseph’s, we use Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS) to help children develop their confidence, accuracy and speed when recalling multiplication and division facts. Having a secure knowledge of times tables is an important part of mathematics and supports children across many different areas of their learning.
Children can access Times Tables Rock Stars both in school and at home using their individual login details. The platform provides a fun and engaging way for children to practise their times tables through a variety of games and challenges.
Children can practise tables that have been set for them, improve their speed and accuracy, earn coins to customise their Rock Star avatar and challenge themselves to improve their personal best. Regular, short periods of practice can make a big difference to children’s fluency and confidence with their times tables.
We encourage children to access Times Tables Rock Stars regularly at home. Even 5–10 minutes of practice can help children strengthen their recall of key multiplication and division facts and support their wider maths learning.
If your child has forgotten their Times Tables Rock Stars username or password, please speak to their class teacher, who will be happy to help them access their account again.
