Century Tech
At St. Joseph’s, we use Century Tech throughout Key Stage 2 to support children’s learning. It is used in school for targeted interventions and, in Upper Key Stage 2, is also used to set and complete homework.
Century Tech is an online learning platform that allows children to work at their own pace and provides activities suited to their learning needs. Children can access Century Tech from home using their individual login details, making it a useful way to practise and consolidate learning outside of the classroom.
Each learning activity, known as a nugget, breaks learning down into manageable steps. Children can access helpful videos and explanations before completing questions to check their understanding. Remember Cards are also available to remind children of important information, methods and key knowledge if they need some extra support.
Century Tech provides children with immediate feedback and helps them identify areas where they may need further practice. We encourage children to make use of the videos, Remember Cards and other support available rather than simply guessing if they are unsure.
Using Century Tech regularly at home is a great way for children to revisit their learning, build confidence and develop greater independence.
If your child has forgotten their Century Tech username or password, please speak to their class teacher, who will be happy to help them access their account again.
